Gold Card Electrician

About This Role

SILVMARC is looking for 2 experienced Gold Card Electricians for a substation project in Ashford. Rate depends on experience. This is an ongoing contract role with CIS-compliant weekly payment. Start date: 23 March.

Responsibilities

• Electrical installation and termination works within substation environments
• Cable pulling, glanding, and termination of HV/LV cables
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
• Carrying out testing and inspection of completed works
• Ensuring all work is completed to BS 7671 and site-specific standards

Requirements

• ECS Gold Card (essential)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
• Previous experience on substation or power infrastructure projects
• Ability to work independently and to a high standard
• Right to work in the UK
