Gold Card Electrician
Ashford£28–£30/hour
About This Role
SILVMARC is looking for 2 experienced Gold Card Electricians for a substation project in Ashford. Rate depends on experience. This is an ongoing contract role with CIS-compliant weekly payment. Start date: 23 March.
Responsibilities
- Electrical installation and termination works within substation environments
- Cable pulling, glanding, and termination of HV/LV cables
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
- Carrying out testing and inspection of completed works
- Ensuring all work is completed to BS 7671 and site-specific standards
Requirements
- ECS Gold Card (essential)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- Previous experience on substation or power infrastructure projects
- Ability to work independently and to a high standard
- Right to work in the UK
