Electrical Mate / Improver

About This Role

SILVMARC is recruiting an Electrical Mate / Improver for a substation project in Ashford. This is an ongoing contract role with CIS-compliant weekly payment. Start date: 23 March.

Responsibilities

• Assisting qualified electricians with cable installation and termination
• Preparing materials, tools, and work areas on site
• Running and securing cables, trunking, and containment systems
• Supporting testing and inspection activities
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment

Requirements

• Valid ECS Card
• Previous experience on substation or power infrastructure projects preferred
• Strong understanding of health and safety on site
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Right to work in the UK
