About This Role
SILVMARC is recruiting an Electrical Mate / Improver for a substation project in Ashford. This is an ongoing contract role with CIS-compliant weekly payment. Start date: 23 March.
Responsibilities
- Assisting qualified electricians with cable installation and termination
- Preparing materials, tools, and work areas on site
- Running and securing cables, trunking, and containment systems
- Supporting testing and inspection activities
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
Requirements
- Valid ECS Card
- Previous experience on substation or power infrastructure projects preferred
- Strong understanding of health and safety on site
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Right to work in the UK
